Ingredients
1 roasted red pepper
1 small red onion
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp. tomato sauce
1 tsp. sweet paprika
2 red habaneros
5-6 tbsp. Olive oil
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tsp. cumin grains
1 tsp. coriander
Salt to taste
Method
- Toast the cumin grains in a frying pan.
- Add a bit of olive oil and sauté the previously chopped red onion. When it is browned, add the sliced garlic. Later, add the cleaned and chopped red habanero (for about 3 minutes), the sweet paprika and the tomato sauce.
- In a measuring cup, add the roasted peppers, cleaned and skinned, to the pan mixture, add the lime juice and a few fresh coriander leaves.
- Grind it into a thick sauce.
